Biography of Signe Hanson

Signe Hanson is a business broker and operator with a background in scaling companies, leading complex operations, and driving strategic growth. She brings experience from high-growth organizations, including Home Chef, where she helped lead large teams, oversee multimillion-dollar P&Ls, and execute initiatives across technology, fulfillment, and customer experience.

Raised in a family business environment, Signe developed an early understanding of the commitment and discipline required to build and sustain a successful company. She has since worked closely with founders and leadership teams through periods of expansion and transformation, with a focus on improving performance and maximizing long-term value.

As a business broker, Signe combines operational expertise with a practical understanding of valuation drivers to help owners position their businesses effectively, optimize price, and navigate the sale process with clarity and confidence. She is known for her direct, hands-on approach and commitment to achieving strong outcomes for her clients.

Signe holds an MBA from the Leeds School of Business and is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Colorado, bringing additional expertise to transactions that involve real estate components.

Signe is the owner of First Choice Business Brokers Denver Foothills, serving clients across Evergreen, Boulder, Golden, Denver, and surrounding Colorado markets. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, mountain biking, scuba diving, and traveling with her friends and family.
